January 6, 2021, another day that will live in infamy. A day when armed extremists and conspiracy theory believers stormed the poorly secured U.S. Capitol building and terrorized lawmakers and workers in the process of confirming the electoral votes for the free and fair and not at all fraudulent election of Joe Biden.
A day when these crazies were urged on, aided and abetted and facilitated by the delusional, mentally incompetent, malicious and evil president of the United States, who still has not, and will not, acknowleged Biden's win, and who, while saying he will see a peaceful transition of power, does not say to whom, and who continues to contest the election. He calls his terrorists "patriots" and "very special", as do his evil grifter children.
At the same time, about 45 percent of the American voters voted for this monster. He is probably controlled by evil communist or facist forces. He has lied, cheated, bullied, and stolen his whole life, and yet his cultists love him. This includes family members of mine, who encourage me to “look at the facts.” The facts are this person is a fraudster, a shyster, a buffoon, and an evil monster. Anything accomplished during his time in office has been facilitated by others (i.e. Middle East deals). He keeps being nominated for Nobel Peace Prizes by radical white nationalists in other countries. Nominations can be made for anyone, and mean nothing unless the prize is awarded.
He and his followers have caused more damage to this nation than any other person in recent history. But as with Hitler, Mussolini, Jim Jones, Charles Manson, Heaven’s Gate, and other dispicable cults of personality, his followers have “drunk the Kool-Aid” and will follow him no matter what he does. Moreover, the media who gave him a voice and visibility, whether in support or in criticism, bears some of the responsibility.
It is up to us, the rational, compassionate, sane majority, to quit tiptoeing around these people and talking about their “opinions.” Their opinons are delusional and wrong. They have made being an “anti-Facist” somehow a bad thing, while evil white supremicists somehow include “very fine people.” No more walking on eggshells. Political correctness on the right and the left has to stop. There are no “alternative facts.” There are facts. Let us call things what they are: Trump: Incompetent madman unfit for any office; Guiliani: inciter of “trial by combat” and mentally deranged; Q Anon: a laughable conspiracy theory; Ted Cruz and the others who “objected” to already carefully-audited and certified election results: traitors and seditionists who deserve impeachment and removal.
